What is motherhood?

Becoming a mother is a terrifying experience regardless of age or experience. But becoming a mother while still figuring out what your purpose here on earth is, well thats a whole other kind of terror. 
For me, growing and nurturing my son at the age of 18 shaped me into who I am and showed me who I wanted to be, not just as a mother, but as a person.
